Humber’s unique Nutrition and Healthy Lifestyle Promotion program is the only diploma of its kind in Canada, designed to prepare you for a fulfilling career encouraging individuals and groups of all ages to live healthier lifestyles. In this program, you will develop an understanding of general and clinical nutrition, sport nutrition, and physiology. You will gain invaluable hands-on experience by coaching and conducting health promotion seminars and workshops. The curriculum is founded on evidence-based nutrition information and is taught by registered dietitians and other regulated health-care professionals.
Program Structure
The Nutrition and Healthy Lifestyle Promotion program is structured to provide a comprehensive education over a period of 4 semesters. This program offers an online option, allowing for flexibility in your studies. Key features of the program structure include:
