Program Overview

This is one of the few Pre-Health Pathway programs in the Ontario College sector where students have the opportunity to gain science lab experience. If you are interested in pursuing a career in the health-care sector and you would like the opportunity to explore your options while developing the skills that are necessary for post-secondary success, then this is the program for you. In the Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees program, you will strengthen your science, writing, and math skills while exploring and preparing you for career paths in biotechnology, pharmacy technician, registered or practical nursing, Chinese medicine, and paramedicine, to name a few.

Program Structure

The Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive foundation in health sciences. The program is structured as follows:

  • Program Length: 2 semesters
  • Online option available
  • Students will participate in lab teams and conduct science experiments starting in the first semester
  • Pathways guest speakers and events for career insights and options in health and sciences fields
  • Student advising support for each student

This program not only focuses on academic skills but also emphasizes practical experiences that are essential for success in the health sciences field.
