Seneca's Business Administration – Financial Planning program is designed to equip students with essential knowledge in personal and financial planning, as well as personal taxation. This advanced diploma program prepares students for a successful career in the business world and the financial services industry. With a focus on developing a broad range of business administration skills, students will also gain a specialization in financial planning, which is one of the fastest-growing sectors in Canada. Graduates will be well-prepared to manage their own finances and provide financial advice to clients, ensuring personal and career success.

Program structure

The Business Administration – Financial Planning program is structured to provide a comprehensive education over a period of 6 semesters (3 years). The program is offered in a hybrid delivery format, combining both online and in-person learning experiences. Key features of the program structure include:

  • Work Term Option: Students have the opportunity to complete an optional work term, gaining valuable hands-on experience in their field of study.
  • Flexible Learning: Some courses are available in a flexible delivery format, allowing students to choose between in-person and online learning.
