Seneca's Business – Insurance program is designed to prepare students for a rewarding career in the property and casualty (general) insurance industry. This program is offered in collaboration with the Insurance Institute of Canada, ensuring that students receive a comprehensive education that is relevant to the current market. The curriculum focuses on essential aspects of both business and insurance, providing students with the necessary skills to excel in various roles within the industry. With a strong emphasis on brokerage, underwriting, and claims, graduates will be well-equipped to meet the demands of this dynamic field.

Program structure

The Business – Insurance program is structured to be completed in 4 semesters, which equates to 2 years of full-time study. Students also have the option to pursue the program part-time, allowing for greater flexibility in managing their studies alongside other commitments.

  • Optional co-op work term for hands-on experience in the insurance field.
