Program Overview

The Human Resources Management (Online) program at Centennial College is designed to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge required for a successful career in human resources. This program focuses on the critical role of HRM in ensuring organizations have the right people for success. Students will gain foundational training to enter various HR occupations, whether as generalists or specialists, across diverse industries. The program emphasizes aligning HR practices with organizational strategies, preparing graduates to become strategic partners in the business community and contribute to the Ontario economy.

Program Structure

The Human Resources Management (Online) program is structured to be completed in 1 year, divided into 2 semesters. The program is delivered through asynchronous learning, allowing students to engage with course materials at their own pace while participating in weekly scheduled touch base sessions with their assigned professor. This flexibility is ideal for those balancing work or other commitments. Additionally, the program offers an optional co-op component, providing students with practical experience in the field of human resources.

  • Co-op Option: Available for students who choose to transition to the synchronous version of the program for Semester 2.
