Program overview

Develop the practical skills and knowledge required to ensure you thrive as a Human Resources professional. The Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources Management is designed to prepare students for a rewarding career in human resources. This program emphasizes interactive and engaging courses that equip students with the necessary tools to attain their Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation. With a focus on experiential learning, students will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge in real-world settings, making them well-prepared for the workforce.

Program structure

The Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources Management is a four-year full-time program offered at Ontario Tech University, North Oshawa. The program includes various experiential learning opportunities, such as:

  • Capstone projects
  • Co-op placements
  • Internships
  • Research studies

Students can apply for the direct-entry co-op option through the Ontario Universities Application Centre (OUAC). The program is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of human resources management, preparing students for various roles in the field. Classes are delivered in-person, and the program starts in September each year.
