The Double Degree - Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology & Bachelor of Education - Primary/Junior (Accelerated) program at Lakehead University is designed for students who aspire to excel in both kinesiology and education. This unique program allows students to earn two degrees in a streamlined format, preparing them for a diverse range of career opportunities in health, education, and physical activity. Program Structure

The Double Degree program is structured to be completed in a total of five years, combining both kinesiology and education studies. The program includes:

  • A total of 20 full course equivalents (FCEs) required for graduation.
  • Completion of all required Kinesiology courses, alongside courses in Biology, English, and Chemistry.
  • Education courses that must be completed prior to entry into the Professional Program.
  • Elective courses that can be chosen based on individual career objectives.

Students will also engage in a two-year Professional Program, focusing on concurrent education at the Primary/Junior level. This structure ensures that students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for their future careers.
