Program Overview
Prepare to teach the next generation of eager students with the Double Degree - Bachelor Of Arts (Honours) & Bachelor Of Education (junior/intermediate) program at Laurentian University. This unique concurrent program allows students to earn both a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful teaching career. Students will be qualified to teach at the Junior/Intermediate level (Grades 4-10) and will have the opportunity to specialize in a specific teachable subject. Program Structure
The Double Degree program is designed to be completed in five years, allowing students to earn two degrees simultaneously. The program structure includes:
- Concurrent enrollment in a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education.
- Multiple placements throughout the program, including a 15-day placement in the third year, a four-week placement in the fourth year, and two five-week placements in the fifth (professional) year.
