The Double Degree - Honours Bachelor of Arts - Philosophy & Bachelor of Education - Primary/Junior program at Lakehead University is designed for students who wish to combine their passion for philosophy with a career in education. This unique program allows students to earn two degrees simultaneously, equipping them with a comprehensive understanding of philosophical concepts while also preparing them for teaching at the Primary and Junior levels. Program Structure

The Double Degree program spans a total of six years, integrating both the Honours Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and the Bachelor of Education in Primary/Junior. The structure of the program is as follows:

  • Second Year: Advanced Philosophy courses and Education.
