Program Overview

Humber’s Business Management – Entrepreneurial Enterprise graduate certificate program equips students with the essential skills and knowledge required for various leadership roles in innovative entrepreneurial enterprises. This program encompasses all facets of entrepreneurship, from developing and refining ideas to launching, growing, and managing a business. Graduates will be prepared to assume key management positions in areas such as operations, marketing, finance, human resources, and strategic planning. Additionally, students will gain the expertise needed to start and manage their own enterprises. Participation in Humber’s Business funding competitions offers students the chance to secure seed funding for their ventures, while membership in the Longo Centre for Entrepreneurship provides access to mentorship, coaching, networking events, seminars, workshops, and entrepreneurial facilities.

Program Structure

The Business Management – Entrepreneurial Enterprise program is structured to be completed in 3 semesters. This program offers flexibility with an online option, allowing students to engage in their studies in a manner that suits their schedules. Key features of the program structure include:

  • Program Length: 3 semesters
  • Delivery Options: Online, In-Person, Hybrid
  • Work-Integrated Learning: Students can gain hands-on experience through a minimum of 160 hours of field experience, applying classroom knowledge to real-world situations.
  • Optional Co-operative Education: Students have the opportunity to participate in paid work terms that progressively increase in complexity.

Students will have the chance to select their preferred course delivery options during open enrollment, ensuring a personalized learning experience.
