Program Overview

The Global Business Management Ontario Graduate Certificate program is designed to prepare students for a diverse range of business management careers. This program is open to individuals with a bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma, and no prior business experience is required. Over the course of the program, students will develop essential skills and knowledge to thrive as leaders in a competitive global economy. The curriculum encompasses major functional areas of business, fostering key qualities such as leadership, communication, creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, and strategic planning. This comprehensive approach ensures that graduates are well-equipped to navigate the complexities of the business world.

Program Structure

The Global Business Management program spans 4 semesters, providing a thorough education in business management. The program is structured as follows:

  • Students can choose between in-person, online asynchronous, online synchronous, or hybrid course delivery methods.
  • Field experience is included in the fourth semester, allowing students to gain practical, hands-on experience in their chosen specialization.
  • Optional co-operative education opportunities are available, enabling students to gain paid work experience in their field.
  • Students will select a specialization stream in their second year, with options available in Human Resource Management, International Business Management, and Marketing Management.

This flexible structure allows students to tailor their learning experience to fit their personal and professional goals, ensuring they are well-prepared for the workforce upon graduation.
