Humber’s Carpentry and Renovation Technician diploma program is designed to equip students with both technical and business skills essential for the home renovation industry. Throughout the program, students will explore various aspects of house construction and basic building systems, including compliance with building codes. The curriculum emphasizes practical, hands-on experience through Humber’s well-equipped labs, allowing students to apply their learning in real-world scenarios. This program is offered in an accelerated format, enabling students to complete the equivalent of four semesters of study in just three semesters, allowing for a quicker transition into the workforce.

 

Program Structure

The Carpentry and Renovation Technician program spans a total of 3 semesters. This structure is designed to provide a comprehensive education in carpentry and renovation techniques, ensuring that students are well-prepared for their future careers. The program includes:
