Academic Requirements

The admissions process for the Advanced College Diploma in Woodworking Technology at Conestoga College has specific academic requirements that applicants must meet. Here are the key points:

Applicants must possess an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or an equivalent qualification, or be at least 19 years of age with mature student status.
Completion of Grade 12 compulsory English (C or U) or an equivalent course, or the Conestoga College Preparatory Communications (COMM1251).
Completion of Grade 12 Mathematics (C or U) or an equivalent course, or the Conestoga College Preparatory Mathematics for Trades (MATH1420).

For international students, particularly those from Vietnam and other Asian countries, the following requirements apply:

International applicants must have their transcripts evaluated if they are from outside Canada. This evaluation can be done through WES or other approved providers.
Transcripts may be required to be evaluated by WES in some cases.
