The Motive Power Technician - Truck and Coach Diploma is a comprehensive two-year program designed to equip students with essential skills in truck and coach repair and maintenance. Students will benefit from expert instruction and access to over 17,000 square feet of shop space, ensuring they are job-ready upon graduation. The curriculum also covers various related topics, including failure analysis and electrical diagnostics, providing a well-rounded education in the field.

The Motive Power Technician - Truck and Coach Diploma program spans a two-year period, offering a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience. The program structure includes:

  • Levels 1 and 2 apprenticeship schooling
  • Hands-on learning experiences in a fully equipped shop
  • Emphasis on practical skills and real-world applications
  • Introduction to alternative career paths within the truck and coach industry, such as business development and customer service

Students will also have the opportunity to receive exemptions from Levels 1 and 2 of the Truck and Coach Technician apprenticeship in-school training upon graduation. This program is delivered in person at the Cambridge – Reuter Dr. campus, ensuring students receive direct support and guidance from instructors.
