The Tourism – Travel Operations (TTO) program is an eight-month certificate course designed to equip students with essential skills for an entry-level career in the vibrant travel and tourism industry. This program emphasizes practical, job-ready skills and industry knowledge, preparing students for customer-focused roles. Participants will gain insights into the global tourism sector, learning about various destinations across continents and how cultural and historical contexts shape tourism experiences. The curriculum also focuses on promoting tourism products and enhancing customer service quality, ensuring graduates are well-prepared for the dynamic nature of the industry.

Program structure

The Tourism – Travel Operations (TTO) program is structured to be completed in 2 semesters (8 months), offering a full-time study option. The program is delivered entirely online, allowing students to learn remotely without the need to attend campus. Key features of the program structure include:

  • Online learning format, which can be either synchronous or asynchronous.
  • Focus on developing strong customer service and service leadership skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Sabre and Amadeus.
  • Preparation for the Certified Cruise Counsellor (CCC) certification through the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA).
  • Pathway for graduates with a GPA of 3.0 or higher towards a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Hospitality, Travel & Tourism Specialization.
