This program will give you a comprehensive understanding of the hotel industry. You'll learn how hotel departments are interconnected and delve into creating unforgettable guest experiences. You'll implement your knowledge with two practicum placements alongside renowned hotel partners, providing you with invaluable practical experience and insights.

Program Structure

The Hospitality and Tourism Management - Hotels and Accommodation program is designed to be completed in 2 years. The program consists of four semesters, with a total of 63 credits required for graduation. Students will engage in a combination of classroom learning and practical experience through two significant placements:

  • 120-hour practicum placement in the first year with a hotel and accommodation partner.
  • 400-hour internship between the first and second year, allowing flexibility in worksite choices, including hotels, restaurants, and other hospitality operations.

 

Throughout the program, students will gain expertise in crucial aspects of hotel management, including:

  • Front office operations
  • Hotel event planning
  • Revenue management
  • Facilities design
  • Space management
