Program Overview

York University’s Bachelor of Engineering – Engineering program is a flexible and foundational pathway designed for students interested in exploring different engineering disciplines before choosing a specialization. Offered by the Lassonde School of Engineering, this entry-point program emphasizes core engineering principles such as mathematics, physics, and computing. It provides students with the tools to develop analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork skills—essentials for any future engineer. After completing the first year, students typically transfer into a specific engineering major, such as Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering, based on their interests and academic performance.

Program Structure

This is a 4-year full-time undergraduate degree.
