Program overview

The Cybersecurity & Threat Management program is designed to equip students with the essential skills needed to combat the evolving landscape of cybersecurity threats. Developed in collaboration with leading financial services organizations, this program addresses the growing demand for cybersecurity professionals in Canada. Over the course of eight months, students will gain hands-on experience and learn best practices in communication, information security, and project management. The program includes an industry capstone project and an optional work term, providing students with practical experience that prepares them for a successful career in this fast-growing field.

Program structure

The Cybersecurity & Threat Management program is structured to provide a comprehensive learning experience over a duration of 2 semesters (8 months). The program offers both full-time and part-time study options, allowing flexibility for students. Key features of the program structure include:

• Hybrid Delivery: Courses are delivered in a hybrid format, combining online and in-person learning at the Newnham Campus.
• Work Term Option: An optional work term is available, providing students with valuable hands-on experience in the field.
• Flexible Scheduling: Some courses may be scheduled during weekday evenings and weekends to accommodate working professionals.

This program is also eligible for the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP), allowing international students to gain work experience in Canada after graduation.
