Academic Requirements

The Building Systems Engineering Technician (BTS) program has specific Academic Requirements that applicants must meet to be considered for enrollment. Here are the key requirements:

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or a mature applicant.
English: Grade 12 C or U, or equivalent course.
Mathematics: Grade 12 C or U, or Grade 11 Functions (MCR3U), or equivalent course.

Canadian citizens and permanent residents may satisfy the English and/or mathematics requirements for this program through successful Seneca pre-admission testing.

For international students, additional documents or assessments may be required upon request. It is important to note that all international applicants must meet Seneca’s Language Requirements.

Transcripts may be required to be evaluated by WES in some cases.
