The Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees is an Ontario College Certificate program designed to help students pursue pathways to a broad range of diploma and degree programs in health sciences. The Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees program has a duration of 1 academic year (8 months). The program offers two flexible delivery options to cater to different learning preferences:

Hybrid Learning: A combination of on-campus and online learning, ideal for students who enjoy a campus experience while benefiting from the flexibility of online coursework.
Fully Online Learning: This option allows for flexible scheduling and independent learning, suitable for students who thrive in an online environment through a mix of synchronous (live) and asynchronous hours.

Academic Requirements

To apply for the Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees - 339 program, applicants must meet the following Academic Requirements:

Must possess an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, which includes:
- Grade 12 English, C or U or equivalent
- Grade 11 Mathematics, C, M or U or equivalent

For international students, particularly those from Vietnam and other Asian countries, it is essential to demonstrate proficiency in English. Accepted equivalents for Grade 12 English include:

Successful completion of the GAS-English for Academic Purposes (478 or 278) program
TOEFL minimum score of 550 (80 Internet based)
IELTS Academic minimum score of 6.0 overall with no band less than 5.5

Transcripts may be required to be evaluated by WES in some cases.

It is important to note that if you have previous university degree credit(s), you are not eligible to use the Pre-Health program as a route to apply to the Mohawk - McMaster BScN program. Additionally, the Pre-Health program does not lead to the Mohawk - McMaster Medical Radiation Sciences Collaborative degree program.
