Program Overview

The Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees is an Ontario College Certificate program designed to help students pursue pathways to a broad range of diploma and degree programs in health sciences. This program focuses on the fundamentals of math, science, and communications, providing a well-rounded experience that maximizes opportunities for further study in various health-related fields. Students will gain valuable knowledge and skills in subjects such as biology, chemistry, physics, math, and English, preparing them for a successful transition into advanced health sciences programs.

Program Structure

The Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees program has a duration of 1 academic year (8 months). The program offers two flexible delivery options to cater to different learning preferences:

  • Hybrid Learning: A combination of on-campus and online learning, ideal for students who enjoy a campus experience while benefiting from the flexibility of online coursework.
  • Fully Online Learning: This option allows for flexible scheduling and independent learning, suitable for students who thrive in an online environment through a mix of synchronous (live) and asynchronous hours.

Students will explore various career options in the health field, preparing them for further studies in areas such as Nursing, Cardiovascular Technology, Pharmacy Technician, and more. The program emphasizes a strong foundation in essential subjects, ensuring students are well-prepared for their future academic endeavors.
