The Practical Nursing (PSW to PN Bridging Stream) program at Mohawk College allows students to progress from a Personal Support Worker (PSW) certificate to a nursing diploma. Upon successful completion, graduates will earn the professional designation of a Registered Practical Nurse after passing the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) Exam. This program is designed for those who have completed a PSW certificate from an Ontario community college, private college, or an equivalent program. It offers a unique opportunity to integrate into the second semester of the full-time Practical Nursing program after completing one semester.
