Humber’s Graduate Certificate in Web Development is designed to equip students with the essential skills needed for developing websites and web services across various environments. Academic Requirements

To be eligible for the Graduate Certificate - Web Development program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Possess a bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma.
International Academic Equivalencies:
- Degree or college diploma and transcripts (depending on program of interest).

For international students, particularly those from Vietnam, the following additional requirements apply:

Transcripts may be required to be evaluated by WES in some cases.

Language Requirements

To ensure that all students are adequately prepared for the academic challenges at Humber, it is essential to demonstrate proficiency in English. If English is not a student’s first language, or if their previous education was conducted in another language, they must provide proof of English proficiency through one of the following methods:

A minimum of two years of full-time study at the secondary school level in an English language school system in a country where English is the primary language.
A minimum of two full years of successful study in an accredited university degree program or college diploma program in a country where English is the primary language of instruction.
English proficiency test scores from one of the following accepted tests, taken within the last 24 months:
CAEL Online or In-Person: Overall band score of 70
Cambridge English Tests: C1 Advanced / C2 Proficiency 176 (with no single subscore below 169)
Duolingo Language Test: 125 and above
IELTS Academic Level: Overall 6.5 AND No band below 6.0
LanguageCert Academic LCA: Overall 70-74 with no skill under 65
MET: 62
PTE Academic: 61 - 64
TOEFL Academic Level: 580 for paper-based test OR 88 for internet-based test
