Program Overview

Humber's comprehensive Web Design and Development certificate program is designed to propel learners toward exciting careers as web designers and developers. In this intensive one-year program, students will build the essential skills needed to analyze problems, plan solutions, and build robust websites that meet today's evolving demands. Using the most up-to-date techniques and technology to create sites and apps from the ground up, learners will tackle technical challenges by developing strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

 

Our project-based approach leads students through the complete process of creating websites and web applications, from building static websites using the most current versions of industry-standard tools to programming dynamic, data-driven websites. Each course is taught by talented instructors, with a focus on following established industry standards that include designing mobile-ready, accessible, future-proof websites and apps. With conveniently scheduled classes and a streamlined two-semester format, this program offers the flexibility to balance studies with work and personal commitments.
