Academic Requirements

To apply for the Graduate Certificate in Blockchain Application Development at Conestoga College, applicants must meet the following academic requirements:

An Ontario College diploma, advanced diploma, degree, or equivalent in a technology-based field such as Computing, Engineering, IT, or Applications Development, with an overall average grade of B or above (as assessed, by country, to Ontario standards).
Applicants who do not meet the post-secondary education requirements but possess 3 to 5 years of professional or software development experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Such applicants must provide a resume.
An Ontario College diploma, advanced diploma, degree, or equivalent in another field, with a minimum of 5 years of full-time work experience as an IT system or network administrator or in a similar position, with an overall average grade of B or above (as assessed, by country, to Ontario standards).

Note regarding admission requirements:

Canadian citizens and permanent residents with transcripts from outside Canada require a course-by-course credential evaluation. You can request this at a reduced fee through the college by completing the Assessment of International Credentials for Admissions and Credit Transfer online form, or through an approved provider such as ICAS or WES.
Transcripts may be required to be evaluated by WES in some cases.
Applicants with transcripts from institutions where the language of instruction is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency.
