Program Overview

Humber’s Cloud Computing graduate certificate equips students with essential knowledge, skills, and practices to thrive in cloud development and delivery across various organizations. The program employs a case methodology approach, immersing students in real-world business challenges to cultivate expertise in areas such as virtualization, cloud architecture, security, automation, and artificial intelligence/machine learning. The first semester comprises seven courses that lay the foundational knowledge necessary for students from diverse backgrounds. In the second semester, the focus shifts to advanced topics, including cloud security, automation, DevOps, and AI and machine learning in cloud computing. Graduates will emerge with the ability to design and implement enterprise-level applications hosted in secure and resilient virtual infrastructures.

The Cloud Computing graduate certificate program is structured over a duration of 2 semesters. It offers a flexible learning schedule, with options for both in-person and online classes. Key features of the program structure include:

  • Two semesters of coursework, with foundational courses in the first semester and advanced topics in the second.
  • Online classes are synchronous, allowing real-time interaction between instructors and students.
  • Hybrid delivery format, combining online lectures with in-person labs.
  • Fully online evening courses available for working IT professionals (not available to international students).
  • Optional co-operative education opportunities for practical experience in the field.
