Humber’s Bachelor of Health Sciences – Workplace Health and Wellness is an innovative program, recognized as the first of its kind in Canada. This honours degree equips students with specialized education in advanced bioscience laboratories and classrooms, preparing them for diverse careers in health and wellness or further academic pursuits. The program is multidisciplinary, integrating knowledge from leadership, mental and physical health, business communication, and knowledge translation.

 

Students engage in collaborative learning, applying essential principles of workplace health and wellness to real-world situations. The curriculum is designed to develop the skills necessary for delivering effective health and wellness services across various organizational contexts, ensuring graduates are well-prepared for the evolving demands of the industry.

Program Structure

The Bachelor of Health Sciences – Workplace Health and Wellness program spans 8 semesters, providing a comprehensive educational experience. The program is structured to include:

  • Mandatory paid or unpaid field experience, enhancing practical learning.
