Georgian College’s Research Analyst Program is designed to equip students with essential skills in applied research, marketing, and program evaluation. This program emphasizes hands-on experience, allowing students to complete a research project for an organization or company. Throughout the program, students will learn to formulate research questions, develop research designs, collect data from various sources, perform data analysis, and communicate findings effectively. The curriculum also focuses on both traditional and emerging qualitative and quantitative methodologies, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared to drive innovation in their future careers.

Program structure

The Research Analyst Program is structured to provide a comprehensive learning experience over a period of 1 year, which includes:

  • 2 Semesters of coursework
  • 1 Co-op Work Term to gain practical experience

This program is available in both full-time and part-time formats, allowing flexibility for students. The co-op work term is an integral part of the program, providing students with the opportunity to apply their knowledge in real-world settings.
