Program Overview

The Tourism and Hospitality Management program at George Brown College is designed to cultivate passionate and service-oriented professionals in the hospitality and tourism sectors. Program Structure

The Tourism and Hospitality Management program is a full-time course of study that spans 2 years and consists of 4 semesters. The program is structured to provide a comprehensive education that combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience. Key features of the program include:

  • Work-integrated learning opportunities embedded in the curriculum.
  • A common first-year model that allows students to switch to other hospitality and tourism management diploma programs if their interests change.
  • The option to graduate with a one-year certificate in Hospitality Services if unable to complete the final year.
  • Field education options, including a 14-week industry externship in the fourth semester, allowing students to gain hands-on experience in a real-world setting.

Students are also encouraged to participate in an exclusive Experiential Study Tour to enhance their international tourism and hospitality management skills.
