Centennial College’s Office Administration - Executive program is designed to prepare students for a successful career as executive assistants. This program emphasizes the essential skills needed to support upper-level management in today’s technologically advanced workplaces. Students will engage in a variety of learning modes, including asynchronous, synchronous, hybrid, and on-campus classes, accommodating different learning preferences. The program also offers a unique opportunity to earn a Specialized Academic Certificate in Inclusive Leadership Practices, enhancing students' credentials. With a focus on practical experience, students will participate in a five-day-per-week field placement in their final semester, gaining hands-on experience with reputable companies.

 

Program Structure

The Office Administration - Executive program spans a 2-year duration, divided into 4 semesters. The program structure includes:

  • Hands-on training in office productivity software and technology fundamentals.
  • Business writing and marketing fundamentals.
  • Social media and online communication skills.
  • Project management and accounting fundamentals.
  • Field placement in the final semester to apply learned skills in real-world settings.

This program also offers options for co-op placements, allowing students to gain valuable work experience while studying. The curriculum is designed to equip students with the necessary skills to thrive in various office environments, ensuring they are well-prepared for their future careers.
