Program overview

The International Transportation & Customs (TCS) program is a two-year diploma that equips students with a solid technical understanding and practical knowledge of international transportation, customs brokerage, and international freight forwarding. This program is designed to help students gain valuable expertise to effectively manage the movement of goods and services in a complex global economy. With guidance from industry expert faculty members, students will develop essential skills that are highly sought after in the field.

Program structure

The International Transportation & Customs program is structured as follows:

  • Program Length: 4 Semesters (2 Years)
  • Delivery Format: Hybrid, combining online and in-person learning
  • Study Option: Full-time
  • Co-op Option: Available for students who wish to gain hands-on experience

This program is offered at the Newnham campus and starts in January, May, and September. Students have the flexibility to transfer to a non-co-op stream at any time. The co-op term is typically a full-time paid position completed between two academic semesters, providing students with valuable work experience. Students will receive support through in-class career workshops and one-on-one coaching to prepare for their co-op term.
