The Flight Services (FLS) program at Seneca is designed to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in the airline industry. This eight-month certificate program focuses on safety and emergency procedures, both on the ground and in-flight. Students will develop strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of the aviation industry. The program emphasizes professionalism and aims to prepare students for a rewarding career in the service-driven aviation sector. With a blend of online and hybrid learning formats, students will gain practical experience while studying.

Program structure

The Flight Services program is structured to provide a comprehensive learning experience over a duration of 2 semesters (8 months). Key features of the program structure include:

  • Hybrid delivery format, combining online and on-campus learning.
  • Common first-year courses with the Flight Services: Operations & Cabin Management diploma program, allowing for potential credit pathways.
  • Mandatory uniform for on-campus classes, which must be purchased at an additional cost.
  • Hands-on training opportunities in the Flights Experiential Hub, featuring state-of-the-art equipment.

This program is available for Canadian and international applicants, with start dates in January, May, and September. It meets the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) eligibility requirements, ensuring that students can gain valuable work experience after graduation.
