The Civil Engineering Technician program at Niagara College is designed for those who are passionate about infrastructure development and aspire to contribute to their communities. The Civil Engineering Technician program is structured to provide a comprehensive education over a period of 2 years. The program includes:

  • Hands-on, experiential learning in various aspects of civil engineering.
  • Opportunities for immediate workforce entry or progression into advanced studies.
  • Eligibility to write the house component of the Ontario Building Code exam upon graduation.
  • Immediate associate member status with the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) after application.
