The Culinary Arts program at NBCC is designed for those who have a passion for food and creativity. Culinary artists are professional cooks and chefs who enhance our dining experiences through vibrant colors, incredible aromas, and outstanding flavors. This program emphasizes the importance of local food resources, allowing students to engage in activities such as digging clams and working with local farmers to source fresh ingredients. With a focus on hands-on training, students will gain over 900 hours of practical experience in food preparation and kitchen operations. Graduates will be well-prepared to work in various culinary settings around the world, making this program an excellent choice for aspiring chefs and culinary professionals.

Program Structure

The Culinary Arts program is structured to provide students with a comprehensive education in culinary techniques and kitchen management. The program is designed to be completed within one academic year of full-time study. Key features of the program include:
