Program Overview

Humber’s Visual and Digital Arts diploma program provides students with a comprehensive skillset that spans various visual arts disciplines. Located at the Art Commons, Humber’s dedicated studio facilities, students will learn to create effective visual materials and engage in interactive expression and communication. The program combines traditional media with modern digital tools, including Adobe Creative Cloud, allowing students to explore painting, drawing, illustration, digital art, photography, video, and interactive art.

 

Throughout their studies, students will enhance their creative potential while gaining insights into anatomy, color theory, composition, art history, and social collaboration. The program emphasizes experiential learning and critical thinking, making it an excellent foundation for advanced creative endeavors. Students will also have opportunities to collaborate on interdisciplinary projects, exhibit their work, and engage in critiques, fostering a rich artistic network.
