Academic Requirements

To apply for the College Certificate - Introduction To Commercial Jazz Music - Bass (JM1S1) program, students must meet the following Academic Requirements:

Possess the equivalent of an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).
Complete the required courses as noted on the specific program web page.
For international students, the following academic equivalencies are accepted:
- Upper Secondary School Certificate with a minimum grade of 6 in program required subjects.

Humber English for Academic Purposes Pathway Program (EAP): Successful completion of all EAP courses with a minimum GPA of 60% in Level 8
IELTS Academic Level: Overall 6.0 AND No band below 5.5
LanguageCert Academic LCA: Overall 65-69 with no skill under 60
MET: 56
PTE Academic: 53 - 57
TOEFL Academic Level: 550 for paper-based test OR 80 for internet-based test
