Program Overview

The Construction Engineering Technician program (T161) is a two-year diploma course designed to equip students with the essential technical skills and knowledge required to assist in all phases of residential, small commercial, and industrial construction projects. Graduates will work closely with home builders and general contractors, managing bids for construction work and supervising various trades involved in projects. This program is also eligible for a $40,000 scholarship for domestic students, making it an attractive option for those looking to enter the construction field.

Program Structure

The Construction Engineering Technician program is structured over a duration of two years, comprising four semesters. The program is offered in a full-time format, with starting months in January and September. Key features of the program structure include:

  • Completion of four semesters over two years.

  • Option to continue to the third year of the Construction Engineering Technology Program for an Advanced Diploma.
