Pursue your passion for health care with the Practical Nursing program at Conestoga College! This career-focused program equips students with the essential knowledge, skills, and experience needed to become a vital member of the nursing profession and health-care team. The curriculum is grounded in scientific theory from nursing, physical and psychosocial sciences, and humanities. Students will learn person-centred care through real-life experiences and work-integrated learning opportunities, with a special emphasis on seniors care to address the needs of an aging population.

Program structure

The Practical Nursing program at Conestoga College is designed to be completed in a 2-year timeframe. This program is delivered in a hybrid format, combining both in-person and online learning experiences. Key features of the program structure include:
