Program Overview

The Practical Nursing Program at Coast Mountain College is designed to equip learners with the essential knowledge, skills, judgments, and attitudes necessary to perform a wide range of nursing competencies as identified by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). This program emphasizes a learning experience that is integrated, professional, collaborative, and culturally sensitive, preparing graduates to care for individuals and their families across various life stages and practice settings. Upon successful completion, learners will be eligible to write the Regulatory Exam - Practical Nurse (REx-PN).
