Program overview

The Bachelor of Arts in Media and Performance Production (MAPP) is a unique 4-year Honours degree offered in collaboration with the Film and Media Department. This program allows students to delve into the realms of Drama or Music alongside Media Production, emphasizing the fusion of media and embodied arts. Students will engage in the creation of multidisciplinary art projects, exploring various media forms and digital technologies to enhance their creative expressions.

Program structure

The Bachelor of Arts in Media and Performance Production is structured to provide a comprehensive educational experience over a 4-year period. The program includes:

  • Focus on Drama or Music along with Media Production
  • Exploration of experimental storytelling and performance practices
  • Opportunities to craft interactive and immersive narratives
  • Integration of digital performance projects with live or recorded music and video projection
  • Complementary courses in Drama, Music, Music Theatre, and Film & Media

Additionally, students have the option to pursue a Concurrent Education degree or a Certificate in Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Creativity alongside their Bachelor of Arts in Media and Performance Production.
