Program overview

The Combined Degree program at Ivey Business School allows students to earn two degrees: an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (HBA) and an Honours Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Creative Writing and English Language and Literature. This unique program is designed to provide a comprehensive education that combines business acumen with a deep understanding of the arts. Students will spend their first two years in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, followed by three years in the HBA program, culminating in a well-rounded academic experience that prepares them for diverse career paths.

Program structure

The Combined Degree program is structured to be completed in a total of five years. Here’s how the program is organized:

  • Years 1 and 2: Students are registered in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, following the curriculum for the Honors Specialization module.
  • Year 3: Students transition into the HBA program.
  • Years 4 and 5: Students continue in the combined program, taking both business courses and required courses in their second degree area.
