The Master of Design in Digital Futures at OCAD University is designed to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge to navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of digital technology. Program structure

The Master of Design in Digital Futures is a full-time program with a duration of 2 years. The program structure includes:

  • Foundational courses in creative computation, creative techniques, and critical theory.
  • Core courses focusing on digital methods, research, theory, and practice.
  • Intensive digital project and prototyping courses.
  • Individual research and creation overseen by a principal advisor and supervisory committee.
  • Summer internship and/or study abroad options.

  • A creative digital thesis project and supporting paper (MFA/MDes) or a written thesis and supporting creative project (MA).
