Program Overview

The People Analytics program is a one-year graduate certificate designed to transform big data into actionable strategic insights within the field of human resources (HR). This program focuses on creating effective data visualizations and dashboards that can be presented to HR leadership. Students will learn to utilize digital tools that support data-driven decision-making while exploring ethical data governance and reporting practices. The program is tailored for HR graduates and professionals, equipping them with the skills necessary to analyze employee data and inform recruitment and retention strategies.

Program Structure

The People Analytics program is structured as follows:

  • Duration: 1 year consisting of 2 semesters plus a work term.
  • Method of Study: Full-time.
  • Starting Months: January and September.
  • Co-op Work Term: Students will gain real-world experience through a one-semester co-op work term.

This program is part of the Centre for Business and is offered at the St. James Campus. It addresses the current needs within the HR sector by providing students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in people analytics.
