So, you’ve always had a fascination with helicopters, single-engine planes and jumbo jets, but now you want to be a part of one of mankind's greatest technological achievements and play an important role in the aviation industry? The Aviation Technician - Aircraft Maintenance program can help.

Accredited by Canada’s federal licensing body, Transport Canada (TC), and the national aviation council, the Canadian Council for Aviation and Aerospace (CCAA), the offering will give you knowledge and skills to service, repair, overhaul and troubleshoot aircraft components and systems.

Program Structure

The Aviation Technician - Aircraft Maintenance program is structured to run over a 2-year period, divided into 4 semesters. This program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of aircraft maintenance, including both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

  • Hands-on training in modern labs and an impressive aircraft hangar.
  • Instructors with extensive industry experience guiding students through technical theory and practical applications.

  • Structured in seven-week blocks, allowing students to focus on a set number of courses at a time.
  • Basic training required to obtain an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME – “M” rating).

Students will also have opportunities for work-integrated learning and job shadowing with industry partners, which can significantly enhance their employability upon graduation.
