Program Overview

The Bachelor of Arts in Health & Society at York University is designed for students interested in understanding the social, cultural, economic, and political forces that shape health outcomes and healthcare systems. This program provides a critical perspective on global and local health issues, giving students the tools to evaluate health inequities and social determinants of health. It’s ideal for those passionate about improving public health, advocating for healthcare access, or planning careers in health policy, health promotion, or community development.
