The Bachelor of Nursing (BN) program at the University of Manitoba offers a comprehensive foundation in nursing knowledge, hands-on clinical practice, and essential skills for a fulfilling career in healthcare. Program structure

The Bachelor of Nursing program is structured to provide students with a solid foundation before diving into specialized nursing courses. The program is designed to be completed in 28 months, following a qualifying year of undergraduate studies. Key features of the program structure include:

  • Intakes: Three intakes per year - Fall, Winter, and Summer
  • Expanded Opportunities: The program has expanded capacity to address Manitoba's nursing shortage, allowing for a third intake of 120 students each year.
