In the Aviation Safety (ASE) program, you will receive a comprehensive education in essential safety techniques relevant to the aviation industry. This advanced diploma program focuses on Canadian aviation industry regulations, as well as the business, leadership, and technical skills necessary to implement policies and procedures. Graduates will be well-prepared to begin their careers in various aviation companies, including commercial airlines, flight schools, insurance companies, and airports.

Program structure

The Aviation Safety program is structured to provide a thorough education over a period of 6 semesters (3 years). The program is designed for full-time students and offers a flexible delivery format, allowing students to choose between in-person and online learning experiences. Key features of the program include:

  • Co-op Option: Students have the opportunity to complete a co-op work term, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the field.
  • Flexible Learning: The program is delivered in a flexible format, accommodating various learning preferences.
  • Work-Integrated Learning: The program includes structured work terms that enhance practical skills and employability.

Students can start the program in either May or September, with availability subject to change. The program meets Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) eligibility requirements, making it an excellent choice for international students.
