The Aviation Safety (ASE) program at Seneca offers a comprehensive education focused on essential safety techniques relevant to the aviation industry. This advanced diploma program equips students with knowledge of Canadian aviation regulations, alongside business, leadership, and technical skills necessary for implementing safety policies and procedures. Graduates will be prepared to embark on careers in various aviation sectors, including commercial airlines, flight schools, insurance companies, and airports.

Program structure

The Aviation Safety program is structured to provide a thorough educational experience over a period of 6 semesters (3 years). The program is designed to be flexible, allowing students to choose between in-person and online learning formats. Key features of the program structure include:

  • Co-op Option: Students have the opportunity to complete a co-op work term, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the aviation field.
  • Flexible Delivery: Courses are offered in a flexible format, combining in-person and online learning.
  • Work-Integrated Learning: The program includes work terms that allow students to apply their knowledge in real-world settings.

Students can start the program in May or September, and it meets the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) eligibility requirements.
