The Accounting (ACC) program at Seneca is a comprehensive two-year diploma designed to equip students with essential accounting practices, technology applications, and business fundamentals. Throughout the program, students will develop vital soft skills necessary for employment in the accounting field. The curriculum emphasizes the use of popular computer applications, including Microsoft Excel and Access, to prepare students for real-world accounting tasks. Upon successful completion of the program and meeting specific academic requirements, students may also have the opportunity to transition into Seneca’s Honours Bachelor of Commerce – Accounting & Finance program.
Program structure
The Accounting (ACC) program is structured to provide a thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices over a duration of 4 semesters (2 years). The program is available in various formats to accommodate different learning preferences:

- Hybrid delivery (combination of online and in-person classes at Newnham Campus)
Students can choose to study full-time or part-time, with multiple start dates available throughout the year, including January, May, and September.
