Program overview

The Engineering and Construction Technologies program is a 16-month post-graduate diploma designed for internationally educated professionals in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. This program aims to facilitate their entry into related professional work in Canada. Students will collaborate with industry experts to enhance their technical skills in civil engineering technology and architectural technologies through hands-on, project-based activities. The program also emphasizes the importance of understanding the history of Indigenous peoples in Canada and promotes reconciliation activities, fostering a respectful and inclusive workplace.

Program structure

The Engineering and Construction Technologies program is structured to provide a comprehensive learning experience over a duration of 16 months. Key features of the program include:

  • Mandatory Co-op Work Experience: Students will engage in a 24-week paid co-op work experience, allowing them to apply their knowledge and skills in a real-world setting.
