Program Overview

The Digital Media Studies Diploma provides an academic pathway for both international and resident students to develop essential competencies in the field of digital media. This program is particularly beneficial for students whose first language is not English and who may not meet the general English requirements for university entry. Upon completion, students have the opportunity to progress into further academic options or embark on a career path in digital media. Additionally, students with ESL competencies below the minimum requirements can enroll in the Intensive English for Digital Media program offered by the college, ensuring they are well-prepared for their studies.

Program Structure

The Digital Media Studies Diploma program is designed to be comprehensive and engaging, with a total program length of 560 hours of instruction. The program structure includes:

  • Seven courses, each consisting of 80 hours of instruction.
  • Focus on the interrelationship between digital media and information technology.
  • Simultaneous enhancement of English language competencies alongside theoretical knowledge.
  • Flexibility in schedule and program end date, which may change based on academic performance and course availability.

This program is not eligible for a Post Graduation Work Permit, which is an important consideration for international students planning their career paths.
