Program structure

The Practical Nursing program is a full-time course that spans 16 consecutive months, divided into four semesters. This hybrid program supports a study-life balance by offering both online and in-person courses. Key features of the program structure include:

  • Mandatory in-person midterm and final exams for theory courses.
  • All lab-based courses are conducted in-person with mandatory attendance.
  • Professional practice courses (clinical) take place at healthcare agencies, with shifts scheduled during the week or on weekends.
  • Students can choose their own timetable "block" each semester, with potential scheduling in the morning, afternoon, or evening.

Students are required to meet certain preplacement requirements before participating in clinical practice, which may include obtaining CPR training and immunizations. The program is designed to ensure that students are well-prepared for their future roles in healthcare.
